In 2017, over the objections of 1,000s of local residents, the City Council outsourced Escondido Public Library to Library Systems & Services (LS&S). The contract is coming up for renewal in 2026 and we will oppose continued outsourcing again. The history of our struggle can be found here at the Escondido Library Watchdog.
